The Child Welfare League of America reports that 99 per cent of day-care arrangements for children of working mothers consists of informal arrangements between a mother and another individual — neighbor, relative, or paid sitter.

New canned goods flavors for small fry are chicken soup and applesauce with pineapple. Both come in strained style for infants and junior style for slightly older chillren. (Gerber.)

Ted Britton is pictured holding “Clunky,” his friend from Jamaica. Ted spent six months recently in Jamaica as an International Farm Youth Exchange (IFYE) from Indiana. Ted Britton. Putnam County’s first IFYE, presented to the 4-H Junior Leaders and IFYE donors an interesting set of slides and told of his exciting experiences during his visit in Jamaica. Ted arrived on the scene last Thursday night riding a burro, depicting Jamaica's most common rural mode of transportation in contrast to ♦he modern vehicles that the city dwellers enjoy. Ride burro was also a surprise for Ted.
