They have not died in vain. ..thoee who paid with their Uvee the last full measure Today, Memorial Day. is the day to remember Ixnungtnn. Gettysburg, Santiago Bay, Chateau Thierry, Coral Sea, Okinawa, Palermo, Normandy and Korea. We need only to look at the cemeteries of the world to realize the supreme sacrifice that was called for, that we might be secure. It called for the giving of life itself for many a man; for untold sorrow and heartache for fiiends and loved ones. As they bravely died, so we must bravely live. God has a destiny for us, for America, and only eyes of faith can read that destiny. Each drop ot Mood spilled from Bunker Hill to two Jims, is a deposit in the bank oi our country. One hundred sixty-five million Americans can do no less than dedicate ourselves anew. With our Alabaster Ointment ot thankfulness, let us nobly remember those who laid themselves between our country and her foea. This is Memorial Day.
