High School Highlights
The Minaret Staff had its annual signing party for all high school students Monday ■evening in the cafeteria. In addition to signing yearbooks, pictures from the yearbook were auctioned to the high bidders.
Robert White Robert White is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Leslie, 509 Elm Street, Greencastle.
Ralph Taylor, school photographer, has furnished all the pictures for the Senior thumbnails. The seniors appreciate this gesture very much.
Writers’ cramps instead of tears were the order of the day for the Journalism class as Tuesday was the last day of writing the Greencastle column and the students realized there will be no more chances to ‘complain’ about trying to be ‘clever.’ But Mrs. Lynch, Journalism teacher and Ink Pot sponsor, only says, “Tune-in again next year.”
Jerry Wood, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Wood, 6 N. Central Street, plans to travel to Wyoming after graduation to work. He is presently active in D.C.E.

guests, Mrs. Oliver and Mrs. Wingate, and twenty members present to partake of their hospitality. After enjoying several games, refreshments of heavenly hash, white cake, ice tea and coffee were served. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Miller attended the wedding of Mrs. Stewart’s daughter, Miss Nancy Hanner in Logansport Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brothers and family went to Clarksburg Sunday for her mother, Mrs. John Muck, who has come for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. John Baker and daughter, Mr and Mrs. Donald Padgett and family of Indianapolis were Sunday callers of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Shillings and 1 family. Mr. and Mrs Ronnie Allgood have moved to their new home in Cra'vfordsville. Ladies from this community served the alumni dinner at | Roachdale Saturday evening.
