CHILLED Picnic on macaroni chicken salad, made ahead and chilled well before packing in a cooler or insulated bag. Cook 8 ounces of macaroni as label directs. Drain, rinse with cold water and drain again. Mix lightly with 2 cups of cooked chicken, 1 cup of drained pineapple chunks, % cup each of chopped celery and mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon each of prepared mustard and salt, and % teaspoon of pepper. Serves 4 to 6.

CRUMBY NEW YORK UPI — Strawberry Sunday pie’s good any day of the week. Combine 1^ cups chocolate cookie crumbs and M cup melted butter or margarine; mix well. Press crumb mixture over bottom and sides of 8-inch pie plate. Fill cookie shell with one quart vanilla ice cream which has been slightly softened. Thaw one package (10 ounces) frozen strawberries halves. Mix strawberries with *4 teaspoon nutmeg. To serve, cut pie into wedges. Spoon strawberries over each serving. Top each serving with instant ready-whip-ped-cream. Serves six.
