Bainbridge News Mr. and Mrs. Allen Stoner and daughter Sue Ann of Indianapolis, Don Stoner of Kokomo and Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Brothers were supper guests last Saturday of Mrs. Cecil Stoner and son Morris. Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Johnston are parents of a baby daughter weighing 5 lbs 1 and one-half oz. and answers to the name of Judith Elaine. Mrs. Phyllis Hale has returned to her home here after spending the winter in Ohio. Mrs. Albert Solomon visited last week with relatives in New Albany. Mary Lynn Hanks of Indiana State at Terre Haute spent the the weekend with her mother and family. Mr. and Mrs. O.L. VanCleave and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Hess are on a two weeks’ vacation in Leesburg. Florida. Jennifer and Suzanne Johnson of Danville, Ind. were weekend guests of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Johnson.
On Sunday they all visited Mr. Johnson’s mother at Frankfort, Indiana. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shea and sons of Indianapolis and Mr. Dexter Harrigun of Greencastle, R.R. were Sunday guests ot .Ni.s. Cleila Shea and daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Luth ;md daughters of Newman. 111. spent Sunday with Mrs. Luth's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Proctor and daughter of Indianapolis visited his mother, Mrs. Stella Proctor and daughter Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil English, David and Suzanne and Mrs. Achsa Cassiday attended the Flower Patio show in Indianapolis Sunday afternoon and had supper with Mrs. Cassiday’s sister, Mrs. Mildred Pitzer. Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Clodfelter of Detroit, Mich., visited Sunday afternoon with his daughters, and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Frank and children and Mrs. Frank O'Hair, Mr. O'Hair and daughters. Mr. and Mrs. David Elliott and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Elliott attended the Regional Tourney at Indianapolis Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Arnold of Fillmore spent last Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Gene Gooch. Mr. and Mrs. William Hueber and family of Brownsburg were Sunday guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Etcheson. The Eskimo Bridge Club met with Mrs. Muriel Nelson Thursday evening. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Bernice Steward and M . Lucille Curran.

WOMEN’S BOWLING NEWS The two tournaments held each year by the Greencastle Women’s Dowling Association are now history. The Charity Tournament which was held in January was won by First Citizens Bank Team No. 1, their score was 2731. This team is made up of Joyce Leer, Beth Hurst, Juanita Murray, Liz Godfrey and Chris Masten. The Stoner Insurance agency donated a traveling charity to the GBA several years ago. The Annual Handicap tournament was held in February with lots of enthusiasm and many entries in all classes, team, doubles and singles, and all-events. The winners and the leaders of all classes are listed below: Team, 1st place Putnam Loan with 2758; and 2nd. place Whitakers with 2757; 3rd IBM. No. 8, 2705; 4th 1st Citizens Bank No. 2; 5th place belongs to Murphy Marathon. Doubles: 1st place was claimed by C.
