A Woodrow Wilson Fellowship for graduate study has been awarded to DePauw University senior David Miller of Carmel. SERIES OF MEETINGS The B i g Walnut Baptist Church 2 M. miles south of Pleasant Garden, will begin a series of meetings Sunday evening March 15 at 7:30 o’clock. Rev. Creed Hampton, director of the construction of near-by Isaac McCoy Baptist Camp will bring the evangelistic message each evening and Rev. Raymond Rissler, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Brazil will lead the singing. The church pastor, Rev. Dallas Rissler, extends a cordial welcome to all to attend these services. The church choir, under the direction of Mrs. Coy Thomas, will present the cantata, “The Seven Last Words,” in the Palm Sunday service.

BA IN BRIDGE SCHOOL NEWS William Houser, Carl Ferrand, and Linda Coffman topped the group of fourteen students who took the National Mathematics contest. Their papers will be sent in as the Bainbridge team competes with other schools. This contest has been growing yearly until in 1962, 200,000 students from 6300 schools participated. In Indiana 3,000 students from 99 schools took part. Bainbridge’s junior high team played Fillmore Monday. March 2 in their first game of the junior high tourney this year. Bainbridge won 34 to 31. They met at Greeneastle to play Clinton Center on Tuesday, March 3. They defeated Clinton Center and earned the right to meet Cioverdaie in the semi-final game on Wednesday, March 4. They lost to Cloverdale, 46 to 49. Grade Cards were issued for the 1st six weeks of the second semester on Wednesday, March 4. All of the school would like to congradulate Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Grass on the arrival of their new baby daughter. Bainbridge sent several contestants to the speech contest on Friday, March 8, which was held at Crawfordsville.
