Gingold has concertized widely in this country and in Europe; he presently is professor of violin at Indiana Univer- : ity. Other selections on tonight’s public program include La Gazza Ladra Overture by Rossini, Symphony No. 8, in B minor by Schubert, and Catskill Legend Overture by Paul Whear. The symphony will be conducted by Professor Herman Berg.

The guest speaker will be Glen Utley who will discuss the NFO approach to the farm problem. Every farmer in Putnam County is invited to attend. Utley joined the NFO in 1956 and concurrently operates 400 acres near Ft. Branch, Indiana. He started working for the NFO as a National Staff Organizer. He is now serving his seventh term as National Director from Indiana.

Bridal music was played by Miss Cynthia Tabor. The bride wore a street length dress of nylon organdy, with scoop neckline and long sleeves. Her veil was attached to a floral tiara. She carried pink and white rosebuds. The bridesmaids. Miss Judie Haltom and Vicki Haltom wore February Meeting Is Held By Club Marionettes Home Demonstration Club opened their February 24th meeting with refreshments and a social time to meet our guest, Mrs. J. Butterworth. The door prize was won by Mrs. Cedric Tharp which was made by the hostess, Mrs. John Zeiner. Mrs. Zeiner, our vice-president, led us in the club prayer and pledge to the flag. Committee Chairman George P. Miller, D- Calif., said that whatever views one might have about the target date the fact remained that the goal had been set. He said the National Aeronautics and Space Administration NASA had the ability to perform the feat. “It’s up to Congress to give NASA the tools with which to work,” Miller said. Rep. Olin T. Teague, D-Tex., chairman of the manned space flight subcommittee, also emphasized the financial aspects of the effort. “There’s more danger of not making it because of money problems than because of technical problems,” he said.

Moon Project Will Need Funds WASHINGTON UPI — Most of the ranking members of the House Space Committee — Republican and Democrat — see little chance of the United States putting a man on the moon by 1970. Only two of seven members questioned by United Press International today felt that chances were good that the space agency would meet its goal of reaching the moon in this decade. And even these two hinted that it would be possible only if Congress was properly generous in voting money for the space program.
