Hoosier Faces Three Charges PORTLAND UPI Authorities prepared charges of kidnaping, vehicle taking and jailbreaking today against Albert Brock, 30, Winchester, who fled the Jay County Jail Saturday and took a 16-year-old girl motorist as a hostage. Brock dashed from the jail bullpen, knocked down turnkey Haskel Klessner, and ran two blocks to a highway, where he jumped in the car of Roxann Green. Police said Brock drove away and headed south along U.S. 27 with the freightened girl beside him. Police Lt. Kay Mock was close behind but could not get Brock to stop despite the fact he fired two shots into the air during a 75-mile-an-hour chase. The car Brock had commandeered hit the rear of another car about three miles from the city. The hood flew up and Brock had trouble driving. He turned off on a side road, stopped and jumped, holding the girl in front of him and threatening her with a knife. Mock persuaded Brock to let her go, and a deputy sheriff took him back to jail. Brock was held awaiting trial on a 1958 charge of robbing the Skyview Drive-In Theater here and kidnaping Mrs. Harriett Jones, a ticket taker.
