Barnard News Mr. and Mrs. Jim Poynter of Grecncastle spent Sunday with Mrs. Margaret Eggers. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Perkins and Mr. and Mrs. Jewell Page were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Page and family Thursday evening. It was in honor of Martha Ann’s birthday. Mrs. Elma Chaney is in Indianapolis helping care for her mother, who is very sick. The Ladies Aid met Thursday at the home of Helen Perkins, wdh Goldie Perkins and Lucretia Smythe assistant hostess. Mrs. Kay Clampitt called on Mrs Maude Falin and Mrs. Edna Hubble one afternoon last week. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Page and family and Mr. and Mrs. Jewell Pag' visited Mr. and Mrs. VVm. M. Robbins and family Sunday evening and enjoyed home-made ice cream. Several of Mae Roe s children visited her Sunday. A large crowd attended the Golden Wedding Anniversaries of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Perkins and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Dean, Sunday February 2nd. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Hopkins attended an all day meeting at the Christian Church at Roachdale, Sunday.

Mrs. Ina Turner of New Ross spent the week-end with Mrs. Wanieta Gibbs. John Evans entered the Veterans Hospital at Indianapolis on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Williams and family of Waveland spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Everett Phelps. Infant Dies

Tom Price, infant son of Lee and Lctha Gibson Price, died in the Putnam County Hospital early yesterday morning. The child is survived by the parents, the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dolphus Price, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lodell Gibson. Graveside rites were held at 2:00 p.m. today in the Brick Chapel Cemetery. Rev. James Palmer officiated. Arrangements were by Hopkins-Walton.

-- Two Promoted By IBM third shifts. Mr. Gaskins and wife presently reside at 605 North Arlington, but will be relocating in the Dayton, New Jersey area in the near future. Mr. Reynolds began employment with IBM in Chicago in April of 1959. His first assignment was as an electric accounting machine operator. Prior to this appointment at Greencastle, he was supervisor of data processing at the Midwestern Regional Office in Chicago. Mr. Reynolds, his wife, and their two children are presently living at 1272 West 72nd Street in Chicago, but will be moving to Greencastle shortly.

The bride will graduate from Indiana University in June. The bridegroom attended Indiana University and is employed at IBM, Greencastle. They will reside at 1614 Arlington Road, Bloomington until June.
