There is nothing friendlier than an invitation to coffee. It needn’t be a formal afternoon party with fancy sandwiches and the silver service. A relaxing, informal gathering in mid-morning—when a mother can really enjoy that second cup of coffee—is the warmest way to entertain old friends or introduce new ones to the neighbors. Instead of a traditional coffee ring or rounds of doughnuts or buns, serve these delicious little individual coffee cakes. It takes so little time and effort to make them. That’s why miniature coffee cakes are particularly fine for church or club coffees too. Individual.
