TV CAMEOS: Marilyn Hanold Beauty in the Ziegfeid Tradition
By ED MISURELL THE PHONE rang. It was ft fellow I know from ABC. As he talked, the idea sounded like a good one. In the TV business most of the stars are male, so when anyone from a network calls it is usually to discuss one of the men on their shows. This time the guy on the other end cf the wire was talking about
a girl.
Her name, he said, was Marilyn Hanold. "You have to see her to believe this." Normally you take what press agents have to say with the proverbial grain of salt. But this ABC fellow wasn’t spicing up the details. I saw Marilyn the other day. If anything, his laconic description was an understatement. You can check this by tuning in on "The Sid Caesar Show." Since you will just be seeing her on a 17, 19 or 21-inch screen 1 11 pass along the vital statistics gathered by personal observation and inquiry. Marilyn has brownish-titian hair (unfortunately you miss this on a black and white screen). She has teeth that sparkle like those you see in toothpaste ads in slick magazines. She has eyes that resemble the limpid pools one always reads about when somebody is writing about a girl’s eyes in love stories.
