The following ad appeared this week in the college newspaper: “Earn while you learn. Students may study their regular class assignments and prepare for finals in quiet surroundingp . . . and earn $1.25 an hour doing it.” It’s all part of a basic environmental research program being conducted by the American Society of Heating, Refigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers.
