Missile Launched VANDENBERG AFB, Calif. UPI—A 10-story high Titan-1 intercontinental ballistic missile rumbled from its silo today and streaked toward a target 5,000 miles across the Pacific. Launch of the 300.000-pound

thrust operational missile was effected by the 451st Strategic Missile Wing in a routine training launch, the Air Force announced. In keeping with recent policy the Air Force did not disclose further details for the launch of the 97-foot weapon.

STOLEN BOND TROUBLE — Two Pennsylvania contractors, Edward Hugh Wuensche (upper) and Michael Werner (hiding, lower), leave the federal commissioner's office In New York, free on $45,000 bail each till Nov. 19, date of their hearing on possessing $120,000 in stolen U. S. savings bonds. The bonds are part of the loot of a $615,000 burglary at the home of cattleman Israel Greenberg in Burlington County, N. J, last vear.

SPURNS $29 MILLION—Prince Norodom Sihanouk (above) announced he is renouncing U. S. aid to his nation, Cambodia, at end of 1963. American coolness toward his neutrality Is believed the reason. He said in Phnom Penh that he would bring in three to five Chinese Communist experts to help oiganize nationalized industry. That’s after receiving $29.2 million tn U.S. aid this year alone.
