Ships Collide Off Cape Cod BUZZARDS BAY, Mass. — UPI—A freighter and tanker with a combined crew off the Cape Cod Canal today and both ships burst into flames. The vessels were identified as the 6,732-ton Norwegian freighter Fernview and the Sun Oil Co. tanker Dynafuel. The Dynafuel

was 3,100 tons.

The Coast Guard said the 325 foot tanker was settling In the water and apparently sinking. The tanker’s entire crew* was transferred to the freighter.
