Dawn Rutkowski, whose weight dropped to one pound, five ounces after birth two months ago in Milwaukee, Wis., now weighs one pound, 16 ounces and is gaining steadily. Mrs. Renee Baxmann, head nurse at Mil waukee County Hospital, is looking into the incubator to see that everything is all right. The infant is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ruthkowski.

Mis* Jonas Brlile Of Donald Hyten
Miss Marian Henrietta Jcaas and Robert Donald Hyten were married Saturday in the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Indian-
apolis.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Arthur F. Jonas, 1048 North Huber Street. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Hyten of Bainbridge. The bride wore a Chantilly lace gown. Her veil was held by a lace crown encrusted with pearls. She carried a bouquet of white
orchids.
Miss Marilyn F. Jonas, twin sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Misses Jean and Joan Jonas, sisters of the bride. The attendants wore peacock silk organza dresses and carried bouquets of yellow roses. Theresa Jo Love of Roachdale and Susan Wertz were flower
girls.
Best man was Arthur E. Jonas. brother of the bride. Hubert Hyten, brother of the bridegroom and Richard Hatcher, both of Greencastle, were ushers. After a wedding trip to Colorado, the couple will live at Greencastle.
A son was born Sunday morning at the Putnam County Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. George Pyke of Fillmore. A daughter was born Sunday at the Putnam County Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Julian Libka of Bainbridge Route 1. The Wednesday night Women’s Bowling League will meet Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Public Service room. Mr. and Mrs. Hanford Stinson Fillmore Route 1, became the parents of a daughter Saturday at the Putnam County Hospital. Mrs. John Dennis. Sr. received word of the death of her brother-in-law* Leonard Hutson who died in Chicago. Sunday, August 18th. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Torr, 412 East Seminary Street, are the parents of twin daughters, Marene Gave and Darlene Lynn, born Saturday at the Putnam County Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Conard Gentry, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Whitlock, and Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Whitlock and family enjoyed fishing at Mansfield Sunday. A meeting of the Monday Night Downtown Bowling League will be h c ld at 8:00 p.m. August 20 at Varsity Lanes. All interested bowlers are invited to attend. Called meeting of Fillmore Appelgate Lodge No. 155, F & A M., Monday. August 19th, at 7 p. m. for the Masonic Service for Brotheir Rudolph Volderauer Ray Wells, W. M. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Willis, 636 East Washington Street, are the parents of twin daughters, Marlene Gaye and Darlene Lynn, born Saturday at the Putnam County Hospital. Bro. Sharal Ford will speak at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church three evenings.| Aug. 21-23rd. at 7 00 p.m. Bro. Ford has recently returned from Japan where he spent nine years as a missionary. Everyone is invited to attend these services. The four Greencastle Babe Ruth League baseball teams were supported by the Elks, Moose, Legion tnd V. F. W. instead of businessmen as stated last u*eek. Bill Rader was also coach of the championship tetm instead of Eddie Hammond. The banquet for the boys last Thurs* day night was given by the Moose Lodge.

KINDERGARTEN MEETING A parents meeting of the Cloverdale Kindergarten College was held at the American Legion Home on August 14 1963. A vote was taken concerning a full or half term Kindergarten. The vote was 12 to 5 in favor of a half term. Kindergarten will start at the beginning of the second semester of school and all parents will receive an enrollment blank in November. Anyone in the Cloverdale, Quincy or Cunot School area interested in sending their child to kindergarten, who hasn't been contacted please contact one of the officials. All children must be 6 years of age by October 15, 1964.

POLITICS IN BRITTAIN LONDON UPI — Political observers said today the Conservative party’s poor showingin Thurdays special election in Stratford the prospects of a parliamentary election this year. Conservative candidate Angus Maude won the parliamentary seat at the election, but his majority was only 3.470 compared to former War Secretary John Profumo’s 14,129-vote margin of victory in 1959.
