Albert Wallace, son of David and Rebecca. Wallace was born December 4, 1871 in old Mill Creek Township where he grew up and attended school with his twin sister Alpha, and has lived his entire life on the family

In his early life he joined Walnut Chapel Friends Church where he regularly attended church and Sunday school. Albert served his church and community well. He always wanted to see the good things of life made possible by promoting new and better things for the church and its members. Next to his family he loved the "little brick church on the hill and especially the little children whom he met in his every day living. On November 14. 1961 he was honored for his 70 years of service to the church. He has also served in other capacities; as a member of the Permanent Board, and the Finance Committee of the Western Yearly Meeting, tre surer of the Quarterly meeting, treasurer and trustee of Walnut Chapel Church, and a director and Vice President of Fanners State Bank at Eminence. Thus ends his life span of 91 years, 7 months and 28 days. He leaves Lola to carry on his work, she has been his constant companion many years and no dad could have had better care than he, also nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends who will miss the cheery words and .smiling face of “Abbie.”
