Supports NATO Nuclear Setup . PARIS UPI — Allied Supreme Commander Gen. Lyman L. Lemnitzer swung his support today behind plans for a multilateral nuclear force in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. But he .said it would be ••militarily disastrous” if the force were not placed under his command. Lemmtzer said he also is working on plans for a forward defence in Europe that would mean •‘physical resistance” to any Communist attack immediately it struck across the Iron Curtain frontier. But he warned that theWeat must further boost its forces to carry out such a forward defense. He warned, too, of “evident deficiencies” in Allied air defenses in Europe.
draw trumps, and discard a club on dummy's remaining diamond. Now you can lose only one club trick, and your contract is home. Even if West fails to continue the diamonds at the second trick your plan is to set up one of dummy’s diamonds by ruffing out East’s ace. East cannot interfere with your plot by overtaking the first trick with the ace of diamonds. If he does, this sets up both the king and queen of diamonds in dummy. You will lose a diamond and two clubs, but you can then drawtrumps and discard two spades on dummy’s king and queen of diamonds.
