The Freedom team made a real scrap out of the proceedings during the first half. Their height gave them an advantage off the boards and the tilt was knotted at 12-12 at the quarter.

In the second period, Freedom gained an 8-point edge on the Cubs. However, the Greencastle players began to click and forged into a 31 to 27 lead at halftime.

From then on, during the third and fourth frames, the Valley champs held the upper hand, outscoring Freedom 10-9 in the third quarter and 13-10 in the final stanza. Tonight at 8, the Cubs vrill battle Spencer to determine who will meet the Switz City prelim winner Wednesday at Switz i City. The winner there will play ; in the final round at Terre Haute on Saturday, Jan. 25.
