Bee-Crawley Wedding Announced The marriage of Miss Marilyn Jean Crawley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Crawley, Cloverdale R. 1, and William Allen Bee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bee, Greencastle, was solemnized Friday evening, Sept. 6, at the Cloverdale Methodist church. Mrs. Rosselot was pianist. Mrs. Eddy L. Buroff sang “I Love You Truly”, “O promise Me” and ‘The Lord’s Prayer.” The Rev. Charles Rains read he vows of the double ring ceremony before an altar decorated .vith palms and gladioli and ighted by candelabra. The bride, given in marriage oy her father, wore a gown of frosted pink nylon with bouffant ikirt over white taffeta. Her shoulder length veil of nylon vas fastened to a pearl and sequin tiara. She carried a white Jible topped with white carnations with satin streamers. The matron of honor, Mrs. Joe Weist of Fillmore, wore a ;own of lime green chrystalite over taffeta. The bodice was ;overed with a series of tiny ruffles. She carried a bouquet of .vhite carnations. Joe Miller, of Fillmore, was jest man. Ushers were Joe Weist, Fillmore, and Hailey Benson, Jr., of Cloverdale. Mrs. Crawley wore a dress of jlack cuponi trimmed in white Jhe bridegroom’s mother was atired in a blue black dress of .ridescent taffeta. Their corsages were of pink sweetheart roses. Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held it the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leo vVeist, aunt and uncle of th> oride. The house was beautifully decorated with garden flowers grown by Mrs. Weist. The three .iered wedding cake was white iecorated with pink roses and white swans and encircled with »reen ivy. Mrs. Bee graduated from the Gloverdale high school in 1955

the afternoon in Gobin Memorial Methodist Church, Greencastle, with a reception following in the DePauw University Student Union. Miss Hanna is a graduate of DePauw University and a member of Pi Beta Phi and Delta Theta Tau sororities. Since 1956 she has been a member of the market research staff of the Procter and Gamble Company. Currently working toward the doctor of philosophy degree in chemistry at the Ohio State University, Mr. Manhart is a DePauw alumnus and member of Phi Kappa Psi and Gamma Alpha fraternities. He is an overseas veteran of the U. S. Army.

Mrs. Irone Inman was hostess to the Busy Bee Club at her home all day, Thursday, September 5, 1957. A very good dinner was enjoyed at noon. Esther Taylor, the president, conducted the afternoon business meeting. Mrs. Dwigans gave devotions. The usual reports were given and business taken care of. Letters were read from the Riley Hospital Cheer Guild thanking us for our recent cash gift of $150.00 to be used in purchasing a lift. Esther Taylor, Guild Sponsor, will announce later the date of the annual Chapter day dinner in Indianapolis and plans and favors for that day will be made at a meeting at Mt. Hebron church. The name of Jeanne Jones was drawn to accompany the Sponsor. 1st alternate was Mary Sutherlin, 2nd alternate, Stella Johnson.
