With the score tied 2-2 at the end of four innings, the Yanks used three walks, an error ar.J two hits to push across five run.i in the top of the fifth. The Braves, howeved, rallied for four in the bottom half behind Torn Set's twd-nm homer. In the f.nal inning of regulation play, the Yanks failed tJ score. The Braves came back with another run in the bottom of the sixth w'hen See walked, stole second, and scored when the Yankee catcher overthrew third as See tried to steal third. The Yanks won the game in the seventh when a hit by Terry Crousore sent the winning tally across the platter. Mickey Copeland shut out the Braves in their half of the seventh to preserve the win. In the first game Paul Mundy’s Dodgers reversed an early defeat by dumping the Red I>fgs of Grover Noel, 5-3. The Dodgers scored one in the first, two in the second and added two more in the fourth. The Reds did their damage with two runs in the second and one in the fifth. Tonight's game pita Warren Ensor’s White Sox against the Braves in a game that should decide the pennant winner. Still very much in the running is Delbert Lewis’ Indian team which has a good 7-3 record. Manager Grimes has assigned Tom See to pitch for the Braves with Ronnie Chadd behind the plate. Cantonwine are spending the next eight to ten weeks in Yellowstone National Park. Mrs. Walter Hock and children of LePorte have joined Mr. Hock at the Indiana State Farm. He is the new superintendent of the State Farm.

The marriage of Miss Nancy May Barnett and Irvin E. Taylor, wa** solemnized Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock in the Franklin Circle Christian Church in Cleve-

land, Ohio.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold L. Barnett of Lakewood, Ohio, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Taylor of Roachdale. The Rev. Ernest L. Harrold read the vows of the ceremony. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white organdy gown, designed by Priscilla; of Boston, fashioned with a fitted bodice and a scoop neckline edged with appliqued motifs. A wide band of tiny pleats outlined the hem of the bouffant skirt which repeated the appliqued motifs and ended in a sweep train. Her finger-tip veil showered from a matching cap. She carried a white orchid surrounded

Light Iblue appliqued motifs outlined the necklines and were repeated in bands on the skirts. They carried bouquets of blue delphiniums and wdiite

Ushers were Robert Hart, Centralia, 111.; Robert Miller, Chicago, 111.; Robert Stewart, Darlington, Ind. Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlor. The couple left on a wedding trip to Oglebay Park, Wheeling, W. Virginia. They will reside at 632 E. Seminary St. in Greencastle. The bride is a graduate of DePauw University and a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. The bridegroom graduated from Wabash College and is a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.
