In addition to basketball and track, ICC major sports are football and baseball, and sports classified as minor are crosscountry, golf and tennis. DePauw took second place in cross-country, sixth in football, and third in golf, tied for second in tennis, and dropped from first to third in baseball last night with a 3-0 loss at Indiana State in the 1957 finale. Last year’s all-sports champion was Butler.

Lewis Bales, of near Bainbridge, is ill at his home. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gough and Madonna spent the weekend with their daughter, Judy, and husband in Peoria, 111.
