Mike Kiger gave a demonstration on leathcrcraft, showing each step of the work.

On May 23rd the Busy Daisies 4-H Club met for their fourth 1 meeting of the year. Patty Bassett, the r -sident, called the 1 meeting to crJer. The pledge to i the American flag was led by Mike Kiger and the t-H pledge I was led by Carolyne Broadstreet. Roll call was answered by the name of our favorite song. The secretary's report was read and approved. The club decided to buy a new pair of flags with the gift certificate which we received for having perfect attendance at the county officers training meeting. A demonstration on how to make bran muffins was given by Patty Bassett, these were eaten later for refreshments, and we decided she had learned to bake well in her 4-H baking. Diana Nichols gave a demonstration on how to etch glasses. The health and safety leader, Sharon Zeiner, gave a report on the proper care and grooming of the body. Diana Nichols and Karen O’Hair, song leaders, led the singing. Richard and Mike Kiger, the recreation leaders, led in games. Refreshments were served, and the meeting abjourned to meet on June 5th, at the home of Sharon Zeiner at 1:30 p. m.
