Mr .and Mrs. Wayne Bettis and daughter, Dorothy, and Mrs. Nell Bettis visited Sara Lou Bettis, a student at Purdue University on Sunday. Burkett were Mrs. Claud Burk on Monday afternoon and Mrs. Russell O’Haver, Mrs. Neile Bettis and Mrs. Katherine Call on Thursday afternoon. Clyde Nutgrass of Indianapolis spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Russell O’Haver and attended the alumni banquet of the Bainbridge High School. Mrs. Carrie Clodfelter remains about the same. Mrs. Loie Holland and son. George of Indianapolis and Mrs. Mae Woodworth of Brick Chapel were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Woodworth and daughter, Ella Mae. Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Smith and daughter were Sunday night visitors. They all visited relatives at Newman, 111 , in the afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Claud Burk spent Sunday with Mrs. Nellie Lloyd of Rockville. The Burks attended burial services for Mrs. Maude Day of Fillmore Thursday. Mrs.
Day was a sister of Mrs. Ed. Reynolds. They also visited Ciem LaRue at the Ruark Nursing Home. They found him as well as usual and in good spirits. Mrs. T. J. Miiler and sons visited with Mrs. Miller mother of Mrs. Clair Albin last Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Anderson spent the day Saturday with Mrs. Anderson’s sister, Mrs. Irving Hayworth and husband of Terre Haute.
