RECTOR FUNERAL HOME AMBULANCE SERVICE PHONE 341 Start Probe Of Prison Rioting BISMARK, N. D. (L'P>—Prison officials today an investigation into a four hour riot of 200 rebellious convicts which was broken up by a flying wedge of prison guards who charged the mob with guns blazing. Three guards were wounded in the charge, but four other guards were released from parts of the North Dakota State Penitentiary where they had been trapped. The convicts seized complete control of the penitentiary about mid-morning Tueseday, and only lost control in the rush of guards firing rifles and tear gas shells into the air. Warden O. J. NyGaard said he had a “pretty good idea” that 10 convicts were responsible for' the riot, but he did not identify ' them.
