Fillmore PTA To Meet Monday The regular meeting of the Fillmore P. T. A. will be held Monday, January 21, at 7 p. m., school time. There will be special music. The speaker will be Dr. Luderer, exchange professor at DePauw University. Dr. Luderer is a graduate of the University of Vienna in Austria.

St. Louis. His seven children left numerous descendants scattered all over the nation.—Catherine, the last child of our pioneer parents, first married William Davis, and her second husband was Jacob Harman.—These are facts, not tulogies. Those of the Clodfelter (Glattfelder) clan may have things to eulogize. None can trace back farther in name: Adam (Glattfelter)." But, alas, he married not Eve but Verona Legi, and lo and behold, the date was July 29, 1570. Anyway, I was taught and believe that “self, praise is half scandal.’ or. ‘one shouldn’t toot his own hom’ and that ‘all trees have some rotten wood’—and also some good.” (Mr. Johnson's comprehensive and excellent report on the Clodfelter family contained the names of many of the more recent descentants, which we had to omit by reason space. The Daily Banner feels sure that any one contacting Mr. Johnson for further information would receive his full coopera-

tion.)

THESE TWO COLUMBIA PHYSICISTS, Prof. Chien-Shiung Wu and Prof. Leon M. Lederman, were among scientists who joined Prot. T. D. Lee of Columbia and Prof. C. N. Yang of the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, N. J.. in experiments proving that sub-atomic meson particles do not sp n as scientists have tl.o ;ght they did, thus upsetting a 30-year-old law of theoretical physics. Now a new law of theoretica) physics will have to be devised. The discovery has a bearing on understanding of the inter-action of all particles of living and non-living matter, right on up to stars and planets. Fhrofs.
