RIDGEWAY. Colo. (UP)—A tremendouos explosion which rocked this sanall southwestern Colorado town Sunday, killing 3 persons and in jurying 17, was blamed today on a gas storage tank beneath the burning county maintenance garage.

BAKERY FUMES OVERCOME A HOST OF' WORKERS SUN. DETROIT (UP)—A faulty burner today was blamed for releasing carbon monoxide fumes which felled 15 women bakery employes but killed none. The women, all employes of the A & P food stores, were working in one of the firm’s bakeries Sunday when they were overcome. Fire officials said the deadly gas came from a faulty burner under one of the ovens in the bakery’s potato chip department.

In the unusual selection, Mr. DiStefano will perform on 17 instruments of the percussion section including 4 timpani, 3 drums, tarn tarn, cymbal (suspended), 2 hand cymbals, ratchet, wood block, metal block, castanets, bass drum and tambourine. Orchestral selections will be Nicolai’s Overture “Merry Wives of Windsor,” Gluck-Mottl’s Ballet Suite No. 1, and Beethoven’s popular B’ilth Symphony. The concert is being termed “Salute to Lisbon, Portugal” following an exchange of letters between Mayor Phillip L. Bayt and Alvara Salvacoa Barreto, Mayor of Lisbon.
