TREASURER EVANSVILLE (UP)—A court decision probably will be needed to untangle the question of who is Vanderburg County treasure. Two men claimed the office today—John Behme nad Clyde Oviatt. Oviatt, a Republican, was reelected Nov. 6 to a third term. He defeated Behme, a Democrat. But Behme contended a 1954 corustitutional amendment limited the tenure of county treasurers and ma-de it illegal for Oviatt to continue in office past last Dec. 31. Oviatt was sworn in last week. Behme was sworn in Tuesday by a peace justice, but the county commissioners refused to accept a required Si00,000 bond when Behme tried to post it. Behme .^aid he will await a court ruling before he tries to move into courthouse office.
