Rees; secretary, Mrs. D. O. Tate, and treasurer, Mrs. Frank Collings. Mrs Rees presented Mrs. English with a gift in appreciation of her services rendered to the club during the past year. The program for the afternoon consisted of the singing of Christmas carols by the group and a reading by Mrs. E. L. Gray. Mrs. Dolby Collings read the story "The Wood Carver” by Grace Noe! Crowell and Mrs. Wa’ter Steele gave two whistling numbers. Luther’s “Cradle Hymn” and "Silent Night.” After the program all present received gifts from a beautifully lighted tree. Refreshments in keeping with the holiday season here served by the hostess and her assistants, Mrs. Arthur Weller and Mrs. Walter Steele and a social hour followed.
