Mrs. Lawrence Smith of Keansburgh, New' Jersey has returned to her home after spending two months visiting Indiana relatives in Fillmore, Martinsvlle, Stilesville, Indianapolis. Boone Co., and other places. She aisc spent a week visiting friends at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. Her husband, Sgt. Lawrence Smith, is on overseas duty in Iran. Terry Barker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Barker, underwent tonsilectomy at Putnam county hospital Thursday. Mrs. Barbara Craig has been
quite ill several days. Mrs. Ruby Bray and John McWeathy w'ere united In marriage at the Amo friends church Wednesday evening. She run the Fillmore telephone exchange for several years before moving to Amo. Mr and Mrs. Robert Cassman and family of Indianapolis spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith and family.
