BOY SCOUT FUND DRIVE In the eyes of boys, scouting is in. Scouting is a game. Boys
pose. It prepares boys for manhood. It developes character and health, mental alertness, manuel skills, self-reliance and teamwork. It develops the important desire and ability to get along with others to help people. It is training for good citizenship. Boys as young as eight years may join Scouting as Cub Scouts.. They may move through the Cubs into the Boy Scouts and then into the Explorer Scouts in a continuous growing-up pro-
1 gram under trained aduK supervision. Scouting requires more funds to provide for more boys in the ; growing areas of Ir iiana and Illinois; funds to help build the I men of tomorrow through wholei some Scout activities . The finance campaign of the Wabash Valley Council, Boy Scouts of Amer.^a, will open with kick-off ceremonies in 33 council communities in Indiana and part of Illinois on Tuesday, October 9th and Tuesday, Oct. 16. Funds collected in this council area will be used for scouting activities in Edgar, Clark and Crawford counties in Illinois, and Clay, Putnam, Vigo, Sullivan,
