Dorcas Class To Meet Wednesday The Dorcas class of the Putnamville church will meet Wednesday evening at 7:30 with Mrs. Paul Whitman. Mrs James Samsel will give the lesson. Mis. Walter Williams will give the devotions and Mrs. Fred Gostage will present a special feature. Entertainment will be in charge of Mrs. Earl McCullough. A good attendance is desired as there will be election of officers.

Delta Theta Taa Meets Tuesday Delta Theta Tau will meet Tuesday at o ftO p. m. at the American Legion Horn 1 for the annual Founders Day ceremony Hostesses will be Mrs. Russell Y’ermillion, Mrs. Joe Crosby, and Mrs. William McDonald.

Myers and James Harris of Bob Myers Auto Sales, Inc., have returned from Cincinnati. where Broadway stars from “Kismet,” 'South 'Pacific” and “My Fair Lady” previewed for them the 1957 Chrysler and Icipenal automobiles, which will go on display on Tuesday, Oct. 30th. Mr. Myers and Mr. Harris also previewed a low arid rakish silhouette for 1957 with some mod- * '4 ^ els lowered as much as five inches. The Cincinnati meeting waone of 17 held throughout the United States during October for more than 3.000 Chrysler dealers.

The Putnam County Home Demonstration Chorus will meet for reh arsarl Tuesday evening at 7:30 p. m. at the First Christian church. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Lyon and h Idren, Anna Frances and .obbie, of Chicago were the week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn H. Lyon. The Federated Reading Club will meet Wednesday, 1:30 p. m. at the city library. Miss Marv Woodrum will have charge of the program. The Women’s Missionary Society of the First Baptist church will meet Tuesday evening, Oct. 16th. at 7:30 p. m. at the home of Mrs. Olive York. Mr. and Mrs. Fremont Power of Indianapolis, spent Sunday with Mrs. Minta Snider. Steven Power who had spent the weekend here returned home with them. Mr. and Mrs. N. C. O’Hair and | Mr. and Mrs. Francis Lane have gone to Wyoming where they will inspect some 400 head of cattle they have purchased. They will be gone several days. The home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Moore at 116 Northwood Boulevard has been purchased by Dr. and Mrs. DeWen Killinger. Mr. and Mrs. Moore will leave on Nov. Sth for Ccnroe. Texas, where they will make their future home. The Moores have been residents of Greencastle for many yeai-s and their host of friends will regret to know that they will leave Greencastle.
