Bus Drivers To Vote On Offer INDIANAPOLIS fUP) — A spokesman for a bus drive s union, whose members have been on strike three months against ! Southeastern Trailways and Indiana Railroad bus iines, today announced a meeting Sunday to vote on a new company offer. The announcement followed an all night meeting between uiron and company officials, and representatives of the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service. Commissioner E. F. Windes of the Mediation service said tne company “submitted a proposal which moneywise is substantially greater than any made before.” About 130 drivers walked out last July 5 in a contract wage dispute. Negotiations since then had failed to indicate progress towards a settlement. Members of Local 1492 of the Street Electric Railway and Motor Coach Employes union will meet at 3 p. m. Sunday in the central Y. M. C. A. building here to vote on the new proposal. Officials of the union and company refused to reveal details of
the plan.

Ford’s 1957 Fairlane sedans have “hardtop” styling though they are built with the conventional center pillar in the body. Designers slimmed the center pillar, window frames and roof line to achieve the style which has rapidly increased the popularity of Ford’s pillarless Victoria models. The new line also presents two-door and fourdoor pillar’;ss Victorias in the Fairlane and Fairlane 500 series.
