The first meeting of this group will be held on Wednesday evening. Sept. 26, in DePauw Arts Bldg, with Prof. Helen Leon. At first meeting of Current Affairs with Miss Edith Sublette a chairman will be selected, this meeting to be held on Tuesday evening, October 2nd. Miss Marian Mullendore, vice president and membership chairman introduced the newly enrolled members and the guests for the occasion. Miss Catherine Riggs. Education chairman, outlined the courses to be offered in the Adult Education Classes. Mrs. Ray Mizer, co-chairman with Dr. Anne Nichols, of t^e program committee, outlined the program planned throughout the

year.

Mrs. Norman McCammon, secretary, and Mrs. T. G. Yuncker, treasurer, submitted their respective reports and Mrs. L. E. Sheridan presented the budget. Willard Umbreit, the guest speaker, gave a very entertaining report of the tour of the DePauw Choir, first to Norway and Sweden, then brief visits in Fiance, Germany, Switzerland and London from w'here they returned home. The choir members were warmly welcomed at every appearance and were graciously entertained in private homes in the various cities. Comments in leading newspapers praised the performances of thr choir under the able direction of Prof. George Gove. Mr. Umbreit spoke highly of the attitude of the choir members throughout the trip. Following the verbal report Mr. Umbreit showed most attractive slides depicting the scenery in the countries visited which added to the pleasure of the program. A vote of thanks ,
