Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hopkins and children have returned froifi a fishing trip to Minnesota. The Fillmore Class of 1946 annual reunion will be held Sunday, August 19th. at Robe-Ann Park. Miss Louise Knauer returned Monday from a two weeks vacation in Maryland and Pennsyl-
vania.
The Sears family reunion will be held Sunday, August 26th at Lobe Ann Park. Relatives and friends welcome. The executive committee of the Christian Women’s Fellow- j ship will meet Thursday at 7:30 < in Fellowship Hall. Mr. and Mrs. David Kendall have returned home after spending the last eight weeks at Indian Lake Christian Retreat
Camp.
Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. George Knauer are Mrs. Roderic Smith and children of Highland Park, Illinois and Mrs. Hansel Tower of Bainbridge, Md. Jim Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Biown, was the winner of the portable radio given away by Greencastle Home Supply Saturday evening at the fair. The Knoll, Job and SUucett reunion will be held Sunday, Aug. 19th at the Cunot Church. No program is being arranged. Just a day of visiting. Louise Cowger of Bainbridge, who has been a patient in the Putnam County hospital since August 5th., is now able to have visitors. She would like to hear liom her frineds. Room 2D. Mr. and Mrs. Oakley B. Lawrence and daughter, Diana of Arkansas City, Kansas are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sweet r.:..1 sir. The Lawrences are former residents of Pueblo, Colo. Catherine Loudonna Morgan | has filed suit for divorce from Billy Raymond Morgan. The couple were married Oct. 1, 1948 I and separated August 14, 1956. The plantiff asks custody of the couple’s twa children. Word was received here thi= j morning that the father of Prot. Jarvis Davis died yesterday after a long illness at his home in Brook, Indiana. Funeral services wlH be held tomorrow at 2.00 p. m. in the United Brethren
church at Brook.
Rev. Donald E. Hartsock, new pastor of the Presbyterian church here and his family have arrived and Rev. Hartsock will preach his first regular sermon next Sunday morning. They are occupying the Presbyterian Manse adjacent to the church.

Mrs. Gilsinger Hostess To Manhattan Club Manhattan Homemakers Demonstration Club met at the home of Mrs. Richard Gilsinger, Friday August 7th., for an all day meeting. Meeting was called to order by tfm president, repeating the creed in unison. Treasurer report was given. Due to absence of the secretary, there were no minutes. A short business meeting followed. A very clever contest was conducted by the hostess, won by Mrs. Hyez. Door prize went to Mrs. Wendell Brattain. Meeting closed to meet with Mrs. Wendell Brattain, Sept. 7th at 1 p. m. Bring gift for a silent auction.
