Across The Counter “I’ve got an insurance problem.” said Mr. Boorum as he entered our office. “I let one of those fast talking traveling salesmen sign me Np with a ‘safe driver’ company. He said the rate was less on his type of auto insurance. But he didn't tell me the rest of the story.’’ Curiously, I asked, “How does it end?” Mr. Boorum shook his head, “Sadly, I'm afraid. Another o a r ran into mine. The ‘safe driver’ company cancelled my insurance right away, even though the accident wasn’t my fault. Now I’m having difficulty getting auto insurance because of the cancellation.” "That is too bad.’’ I said, "we’ve had other similar cases referred to us where the auto insurance melted away like a snowman in July.” We investigated. and our sti mg, d e - pendablc auto insu r a nee company issued Mr. Boorum a policy. “You won't have to worry v.'.th a..-; policy,” I said, as I handc I it to Mr. Boorum. !’h' ccm.viny expects a cert tin amount of losses. After all, the purpose of insurance is to pi vide reimbursement and dependability. However, many direct writing companies judge that responsibility. It pays to deal with local agents who furnish reliable protection.” "I know that now,” said Mr. Bcorum with a smile. Why take chances? Insure with us today. Simpson Stoner INSURANCE Phone 6
