RUSSELLVILLE The Tri-County 4-H Fair held here last week was well attended and we had a nice showing of some fine hogs, sheep and cattle by the boys and girls of three counties. Weather was fine and all had a good time. Missi Daretha Nicholson and Miss Katherine Harbison of Morton, spent Thursday night with Mr. and Mrs. S. Lawter and showed some fine Jersey slock here at the Fair. Mrs. Rosalyn Goff of Lafayette has been spending a few days with her mother, Mrs. Winnie Inge. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Clark are doing some repairing on their new home which they recently bought of Mrs. Bertha Sutherlin. Miss Betty Bain of Lafayette spent the weekend here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Iver Bain. Miss Cora Carrington of Lebanon spent the week end here with her niece, Mrs. Geraldine Marstellar and family attended the Fair and visited with old friends. Mrs. Bessie Bressler of near Bainbridge spent Friday* night with Mr. and Mrs. Turner Harbison and visited with other friends at the Fair Saturday. Rev. and Mrs. Russell E. Myers of the Christian Church, started Sunday on a- trip to Oregon and Washington State to visit relatives and will be gone three weeks or more.
