Mrs. Stanley Bushong of Russellville returned to her home from Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville Saturday. August 4th, after undergoing major surgery on Wednesday, July 25th. Jim Earnshaw will arrive *U the Muncipal Airport in Indianapolis this afternon from Tampa, Florida. He has been the guest of David Kersey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kersey, formerly of this city. A short in a television set resulted in the city firemen being ; called to the William Day home on West Walnut street road at 1:40 Tuesday afternoon. The only damage reported by the firemen was to the TV set. Col. and Mrs, Charles Arnold ; anil four children axe expected to i dock in New Yoxk, N. Y., on Satuiday. Col. Arnold has been j stationed in Paris, France for several years. They will make J their future home in Washington, j where Col. Arnold has been assigned. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Earnshaw Tuesday night were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Purvis of Mattoon, Illinois. Mr. Purvis is the Ford dealer at Mattoon. Flying their own plane they landed at the Greencastle airport Tuesday afternoon and returned home today.

About sixty-five members of ! the Hanks family held their reunion in Robe Ann Park on Sunday, | Aug. 5th. A bountiful dinner was enjoyed at the noon hour. Roy Hanks gave thanks.
