INDIANAPOLIS (UP) — A IT’i. million dollar hydroelectric generating station may be built near Markland, Ind., on the Ohio F»ver by the Public Service Company of Indiana, Inc., if the Federal Power Commission approves. The PSCI announced today it filed the application Thursday with the FPC for a preliminary ; permit to build the station at the Indiana end of the proposed Markland Navigation Dam being constructed by the federal gov- | ernment.
