She will return in about ten - day:* with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Vei n Parker, who have been there since the first of February. The Community Hall at Bellmore will be open all day Saturday March 17 for articles for the Floyd Brattain family whose home was badly damaged by fire Monday morning. Furniture, clothing, bedding etc. will be appreciated. Three boys 7, 8 and 15 and a girl 11 in school. Miss Roberta Wysong, R. R. 1, Greencastle, is among the 98 Indiana University girls chosen for membership in Alpha Lambda Delta, freshman women’s scholastic honorary society at Indiana University. Membership is limitf ed to girls having a B plus average for their freshman w r ork. Initiation services were held Tuesday evening.

There will be a free turkey dinner at the Moose Home Thursday evening at 8 o’cl09k in honor of Sgt. Amos Skimmerhorn. All Moose members are invited. The Brick Chapel Ladies Ai l will sponsor a pitch-in dinner at the church Friday, March 16th, at 6:30 for their families and the Men’s Club and families. Chicken pie and drink will be furnished. There will be a community shower for Mr. and Mrs. Gene Barron Monday, March 19th, at 7:00 p. m. CST at the Bethel Baptist church. The Barrens lost all their clothing, furniture, etc., last Sunday when their home burned.
