Eugene Clark and Burl Wayne Clark left by plane Tuesday night for Tucson, Arizona to be, with their sister. Mrs. Evalene Frank, who is sick. Karen Ann Hill, soloist, placed third in the Sinclair Amateur show held Wednesday evening at the Bainbridge high school. Jean Butts accompanied her at the piano. Mrs. Truman G. Yuncker is in Indianapolis attending the MidWinter Council meeting of the Indiana Federation of Clubs, being held at the Claypool Hotel Wednesday to Friday. Word has been received in Bainbridge of the death of Ralph Priest, age 60 years old of Gallon City, Nevada. Mr. Priest was the son of the former Albert Priest and Mrs. Mary Priest of India-napolis. The Homemakers Extension Club met February 2 at the home of Mrs. Harold Kennedy. Eleven members were present. The program was presented by Mrs. Charles’ Brannerman on Types and Characteristics of Smooth Floor Coverings. Refreshments were served by the hostess. Funeral services for Evan Hopkins were held Thursday at 2 p. m. from the Hopkins-Wal-ton Funeral Home. Rev. F. F. Travis was in charge of the service. Interment was in Forest Hill cemetery. Pallbearers were Hiram Callender, Jr., Eugene Callender, Frank Devaney, Lee I Williams, Benton Bennett and Horace Leachnian, Isaac Pritchett. Mrs. Flossie Meredith was the organist.

Alice Jenkins of Indianapolis, presented a piano program. The first number, played by Mra. Harlan, was “Jesus Christ the Son of God” by Rummel-
Bach.
Miss Jenkins followed with two selections: Organ Prelude in G. Minor by Siloti-Bach and Rhapsody in G Minor. Op. 79 No. 2 by Brahms. The following two numbers were played by Mrs. Harlan: Intermezzo in E flat minor. Op. 118 No. 6 by Brahms, and Scherzo in C sharp minor by Chopin. Miss Jenkins closed the program with Sonata, Op. 9 by
Grieg.
Belle Union P. T. A. To Meet Monday The Belle Union PTA will meet Monday night, Feb. 13 at the school at 7:30 p. m. Two movies will ibe shown which deal with Agricultural Education ‘After the Harvest,” on how American Agricultural products are bought and sold in the world’s largest commodity market.
