Mrs. D. W. Killinger entertain- j ed at her home on Northwood j Blvd., Tuesday afternoon with a tea from 2 to 5 p. m. in honor of the birthday of her aunt, Miss Harriet Spaulding. Pvt. Wendell H. Clark and ! wife, who were called here on j account of the death of Pvt. I Cl:ik’s brother-in-law, George! R. Frank, returned to their home j at F<>! t Eustis, Virginia Tuesday morning. Marriage licenses have been issued at Spencer to Donald J. Clark, of Spencer, and Deloris Jane Mustard, of Putnam county; also to Ellis H. Wilson, Rus.seliville, and Viola Tipsword, Roachdale. The Presbyterian church will have a pitch-in supper Thursday evening at 6:30. Following the supper a congregational meeting will be held at 7:30. The Rev. Dr. Roy B. Connor, of Indianapolis, will be the moderator. The first meeting of the 1956 itinerary of the Indiana Moose association will be held at Fort Wayne Friday night and Saturday. It is the forerunner of three other such meetings plus a jpring conference and state convention. Austin Funk, of Greencastle, sixth district vice-presi-dent will be among state officers and chairmen attending from 30 Hoosier cities. George Rittenhouse left today for Lackland Air Force Base at Saji Antonio, Texas, where he will enter flight training. Mr. Rittenhouse volunteered for service; having received a commission at the time n r his graduation from Purdue. Mrs. Rittenhouse and child will remain in Greencastlc for the next month, at which time they will join Mr. Rittenhouse in Texas. Mr. Rittenhouse and his family made many friends in Greencastle since coming here in June when Mr. Rittenhouse became associated with Coan Pharmacy as a pharmacist.
