Mrs. Charles Hutcheson Hostess To Club The Four Leaf Clover Home Demonstration Club met at the home of Mrs. Charles Hutcheson on Tuesday, January 10th, at one thirty with fifteen members cresent. The meeting was opened by the president, Mrs. Harvey Cox, who led the Flag salute, after which the club creed was given in unison by the group. Mrs. Verner Houck gave the history of the song of the month and all joined in singing same. After a discussion it was decided to accept an invitation to visit certain business places at a later date in January. Mrs. Lloyd Houck, the secretary read the by-laws since this is the beginning of the new year. After a pleasant social hour with refreshments by the hostess the club adjourned to meet in February with Mrs. Verner Houck. Happier !I:>mcs Club Holds Mooting Happier Homes Demonstration club met at the home of Mrs. Austin Kircher, January 10 at 7:30 p. m., with Mrs. William Johnston assisting. The president, Mrs. Johnston opened the meeting with the pledge to the Flag and club creed. Mrs. Vivian Von Tress was introduced as a new member. Mrs. Dan Rowland read the history of the sang of the month, followed by the members singing in unison. Mrs. Herbert Flint gave a report on gardening. Following the business meeting a- most interesting lesson on "Lighting” was given by Mrs. I Robert McCormick. The meeting was closed by the members repeating the club prayer. Delicious refreshments were served after the social hour to nineteen members and one guest, Mrs. Robert McCormick Fillmore P. T. A. Will Hold January Meeting The regular meeting of the Fillmore P. T. A. will be held Monday, Jan. 16th in the cafeteria at 7:30 CST. The guest speaker will be Prof A. Reid Winsey, head of DePauw Art School. Prof Winsey will show some very interesting slides of pictures taken throughout the world. Everyone is urged to attend.
