I HARGED WITH Ml KDER NEW CASTLE, Ird., Nov. 21 (UPi Dewitt Dobbs, 49, was charged with murder today in the shooting of a fellow New Castle man in a tavern scuffle early Sunday. Witnesses said John Lair. 26, was shot when he blocked a

doorway as Dobbs sought to get by him. Lair and four others had been ejected from the tavern earlier, and Lair returned after posting bond on a disorderly conduct charge. Police arrested Dobbs at the home of a friend. He admitted the shooting, police said.

LAFAYETTE. Ind.. Nov. 21.— (UP: Eugene Rodenbarger, 41,1 Colburn, drowned Saturday when

the boat in which he had gone duck hunting with a companion capsized near the junction of the Wabash and Tippecanoe rivers. Authorities said he and Ray Rur.kle, 54, Both made it to shore, but Rodenbarger crawled back into the water. The victim apparently was confused after suffering a blow on the head, they said.
