Y., are locating here where Mr. Stevens will be assistant superintendent of the Lone Star Cement Co. plant. Some one threw an auto gas tank cap through one of the west windows of the Central National Bank some time late Saturday or Sunday. The window was broken Monday morning. We thought some of the Wabash supporters didn't like the way they were treated Saturday and took this means of revenge. Girl Scouting is a community project whose continued program and growth depends upon volunteer leadership and voluntary contributions of money. Since there is no Community Chest, Drive this year the Girl Scouts wil Iconduct a fund drive for the current program during the week of Nov. 34.‘h through Nov. 19th. Some money is realized later in the year on the sale of Girl Scout cookies, but the largest amount of income for the support of Girl Scouting and the development of Fern Vliff must come through your giving. When you receive out letter or one of our volunteer workers calls upon you this week, please give generously.
