Oct. 26th when the achool bus overturned south of Fillmore' when the driver. Bob Huber, lost control of the vehicle and went off an embankment. The children weie piled on top of each other but escaped through the emergency door. Gasoline was spilled on some of them. Several were taken to the Putnam county hospital and one, Sandra Rogers of 3rd Grade, was kept over night. Norman and Gordon Lewis of Indianapolis; Eddie, Dickie and Ruby Coffin of Fillmore spent Saturday with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith. Mrs. Saiiie McGinnis and Mrs. Cosa Applegate of Coatesville visited relatives in the south -•art of the state last week. They visited their niece, Mrs. Zells Cunningham and her family from Wednesday until Saturday. Then the Cunninghams took th^m to ••ee their biother, Isaac Christy at Medora. All of them took supper Saturday night with arclhcr niece and family, Mrs. Dorothy McKinney at Brownstown. They spent Saturday night with thf Christies attending church Sun day morning then returned horn Sunday evening, tired but having spent a very pleasant vacation.
