CLOVERDALE Miss Gilberta Coffman had as guests on Thursday and Friday, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Castle from Charleston, Illinois. The two days were spent in Brown County enjoying the beautiful autumn colors. Mr. and Mrs. Major Ellis of Miami, Indiana and their daughter Charlene, a freshman at Mississippi University, called on Mr. and Mrs. Tom Sandy and relatives in Cloverdale on Sunday. Mrs. Tom Sandy and sens, Tommy and Roy, accompanied them rn their way home, as far as Princeton, Indiana. Mrs. James R. Walton and infant son, Billy Jo returned to their home, east of Cloverdale from the Putnam County hospital cn Sunday, Oct. 30. Claoidia Truax of Plainfield, Indiana and David Vaughan of Cicero, Indiana, spent a vacation with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jewell Vaughan, while their parents attended the teachers convention in Indianapolis. Roy Leonard Sandy will celebrate his 7th birthday on Wednesday, Nov. 2, with a party. Invited guests are: Gary and Ronnie Brewer, Bill Morrison, Michael Sutherland, Donny Larkin and Tommy Sandy.

HEBRON After Sunday’s beautiful warm day, a drop in temperature of 40 degrees by Monday morning with some rain and high winds. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin McLaughlin and daughter of Indianapolis spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Olin Leonard and Chas. Mrs. Byron Gegnar made a business trip to Ft. Wayne on Friday of last week. She was accompanied by a niece of Crawr ordsville. Rry MeGaughey was at Shelby, Ohio lats week to see his new grandson, who has been named Carl Hendricks Moore. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Compton nd family have been at the beddde of their son, Charles, who was seriously injured in a car accident last Friday. He is in the Greencastle Hospital. Congratulations are extended to Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Ashley of this vicinity in celebration of their 50th Wedding Anniversary, Sunday.
