INJURIES FATAL LAFAYETTE, Ind., Oct. 22 — Injuries suffered Wednesday when he was struck by a freerolling freight car resulted in the death yesterday of Frank Killian, 65 years old. Lafayette, Monon Railroad freight conductor. Killian's legs were mangled in the accident which occurred in the Monon yards near U. S. 52 bypass.

STRIKE SCHEDULED INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 22.— Plans went ahead today for a strike at the Indianapolis Stockyards at midnight Sunday with “unanimous” backing by members of a union local. Clayton Sayles, field representative for the CIO United Packinghouse Unoin, said members voted unanimously Friday night against acceptance cC a company wage offer.
