Holdup Attempt By 'Cowboy', 11 INDIANAPOLIS, Aug. 23.— (UPi An 11-year-old boy who attempted a holdup with a 45calber automatic was slated Monday for a mental examina-
tion.
The boy, wearing a mask and carrying a toy gun and the automatic in cowboy holsters, entered the Auto Safety Glass Co. Monday and told six workers: "Get up front. This is a hold-
up.”
Two of them obeyed and the boy pointed the gun at owner Leonard K. Griesemer, 30. Griesemer said he batted the weapon from the boy’s hand, and he fled. ‘T was annoyed with him at first,” Griesemer said, “but when I saw the gun was real I knew the boy intended to hold us
up.”
He was caught later and taken to the Juvenile Aid Division. He told authorities there he was “just playing cowboy” like he ;aw on a television show. Judge Harold N. Fields ordered the boy held until psychiatric Lests could be made.
