Kicky Cline Honored With Party Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Cline, of Belle Union, entertained with a party on Sunday, July 31st, in honor of the first birthday of their grandson, Ricky Cline. Ricky is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cline. The guests were, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cline, Mr. and Mrs.

Frederick Sheppard and family, Mrs. Maude Slayeo. Larry WaL-. ton. Sonny Sims, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Cline and Darlene. Se? eral guests called during the afternoon. Ricky received several nice gifts and had a wonderful time.

Dossett-Henson Wedding Sunday In a setting of white gladioli against a background of palms, William A. Henson took Miss Donna Dossett as his bride Sunday at 3:30 p. m. in the Cloverdale Church of Christ. Rev. Clarence O. Barr officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Hobart Smith of Monrovia and Forrest Dossett of Vincennes. Her foster parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ivel B. Staley of Eminence. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Henson of Cloverdale. Bridal music was furnished by a mixed quartet from the Church of Christ. Miss Oressa Rice of Stilesville was soloist. Miss Doris Anderson of Indianapolis, maid of honor, was attired in a blue princess line dress over crinolines with scoop neckline and cap sleeves and wore white flowers in her hair. The bridesmaids. Misses Sandra and Sherrill Staley, foster-sisters of the bride, wore identical pink acetate dresses with allover silk embroidery fashioned veiy similar to that worn by the maid of honor. Their headpieces were covered with pink satin and pearls. All three carried cas-

cades a! white ra.'ratlons and ivy. - • The bride, given in marriage by her foster-father, wore a waltz length wedding gown of white nylon net over stain with wide scalloped panels of lace

forming an overskirt. A jacket, buttoned high at the neckline and with long tapered sleeves, complimented the bridal gown. Her shoulder-length veil of illusion showered from a tiara of pearls, rhinestones and inidescents and her flowers were a cascade arrangement of white

carnations.

Don Henson served as his brother’s best man. Ushers were Francis Henson, a brother of the groom and Ed Stryker. Mrs. Smith wore a navy and white printed sheer, Mrs. Staley an aqua and white artist design cotton and Mrs. Henson a white printed silk dress. All wore white accessories and pale pink carnation corsages. The reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents in Cloverdale. The refreshment table was beautifully decorated in the bride’s colors of pink and white net over a pink cloth. There was a satin and net ros ette on each corner of the oval

Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Kent Miller of Indianapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rees and children of Vincennes; John Dossett and Mrs. Nina of Princeton. Miss Jean Baer of Frankfort; Miss Grace Cox of Danville; Miss Hazel Evans of Bed-, ford and Mr. and Mrs. Francis Henson and children of Greenfield. The bride is a graduate of Eminence High School and is employed in the Commercial Department of the Indiana Bell Telephone Co., while the groom, a graduate of Cloverdale High School, is a senior in Indiana Central College. Following a honeymoon in Michigan, the couple will be at home at 1614 South Harlan street in Indianapolis.
