i 4 teaspoon paprika

cup sour cream

2 tablespoons finely chopped onion 2 tablespoons Good Luck margarine

1 tablespoon Hour 2 cups canned whole kernel I teaspoon salt corn, drained

1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Cook onion gently in margarine until onion is soft. Stir in flour, salt, and paprika and blend. Add sour cream and stir lightly until smoothly l (4&tied and mixture boils. Add corn and heat thoroughly Serve with a inkle of chopped parsley.-Makes 4 to 6 serving*.

Lawrence-Alexander Nuptials Saturday

The Greeneastle Girl Scout Council will meet Wednesday morning at 9:30 at the home of Mrs. Ernest Collins.

The meeting of the East Greeneastle Township Friendly Neighbors Club has been postponed until Wednesday, March 23.

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn H. Lyon and Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Prevo returned Sunday from Florida where they spent a three weeks vacation.

Mr. and Mrs. Willard Sunkel have returned from Florida, where they vacationed for the past several weeks. The Sunkeis visited both the west and east coast of Florida while away.

Lawrence, of Greeneastle were united in manage Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Dr. Howard W. Stone, pastor of the Irvington Presbyterian church. Mrs John D. Secondino, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. Cecil M. (Mickey) Lancaster, of Greeneastle. was best man. A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents following the ceremony and the young couple then left on a two weeks trip to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They will be at home to their friends at 8 East Hanna street after March 28th. Mr. Lawrence is employed at the Greeneastle IE.M plant.

District B. & P. W. Club .Meeting Held Here Members of local Business and Professional Women's Club were hostesses to other clubs of the Seventh District in a dinn|: meeting at the Union Building on Sunday, March 13th. Registration began at 12:00 o’clock noon with the Crawfordsville club in charge. There w'as a total registration of one hundred twelve. The eight clubs represented were Clinton, Terre Haute, Brazil, Crawfordsville, Spencer, Covington, Veedersburg and Greeneastle. The table decorauons for the dinner were miniature shamrocks and daffodiiis. Following a three course dinner, the meeting was called to order by the Distiict director, Miss Emma Flack of the Terre Haute club. Mrs. Hazel Carmicnael reaS the club creed. Club members wer° introduced, with representative.; from each club being recognized Miss Mildred Caviness, president of the Greeneastle club, gave a short address of welcome, and on behalf of the clubs of the district presented Miss Flack with a beautiful gift. Past distiict directors were present from Brazil, Terre Haute

and Clinton.

Farm Meeting At Cloverdale

This is all that was left of the west fi e escape ,it th<- Ridpath Third Ward school, after the First Wa-d got through taking it away. Now that the First Ward has a new buii iing. it will be replaced. First Ward school officials say the state fire marshal’s office asked the removal of the fire escape. Th« ' nly means of children getting down f om the second floor of the building was the general stairway. A single fire escape is nn the east side of the building, leaving from the north-east corner room.
